The song of December . . .
I was there awaiting and anticipating, With those wishes of my loved ones.. I knew i'm heading for nothing But still there remained 'something.'
It all happened again that day. Another most beautiful one hour? I doubted and i expected the least.. For i know she is just unpredictable.
I got off the board little confused. For a second i looked at the sky... I felt the stars but moon remained unshown. I knew they meant 'something.'
I strolled my way straight and flat. I made up my mind to face her.. And there she stood waiting.. At least now its just for me.
As i reached I held up my smile But what a smile she gave..!! For it looked so true this time. And now 'something' surrounded me.
She walked beside me like a shadowfax. I dared not to look her in eyes.. Thin air..Cold night..and bright moon. Moon showed itself atlast!!
Brave Briseis ate in Achilles own tent. I saw her taste Thetis' own best. I was there smiling with her...I really did. Yet something remained deceptive...i guessed.
The night closed in so soon Merciless time as it always used to be! My Chivalry would keep the Trojans apart. For she wanted to retire for night.
And so she slept in serene peace. With angels playing the piano chords. As darkness started to rule... May she dream her favorite.
Yet another beautiful one hour. I'll hold onto it forever But now there was 'something' around And it became a real bother now...
The trains sirened suspiciously, But they aren't that 'something' It has followed me all through, What could that 'something' be?
Was it 'something' i could see...? I guess not.. But it was certainly i could feel. I waited and now i heard 'something.'
I could hear all of them. Its the song of my "true intimacy" The song of my December. But...Why did she not hear it?
May be she never liked it. Or may be it was just my illusion.. Whatever be it..let it not disturb her. Let her sleep unheard deep into the night..
May my song fade into the darkness unheard, For sometimes..unheard melodies are sweeter. And tonight before i fall asleep... I will pray for a better day . . .
