Irony . . .
I fell in love with, The way you smiled. Now that I love you, Your smile has changed. Isn’t that ironic?
I fell in love with, That look in your eye. Now that I love you, That look has changed. Isn’t that ironic?
I fell in love with, Little gestures you made. Now that I love you, You don’t as often anymore. Isn’t that ironic?
I fell in love with, All the nice words you said. Now that I love you, They don’t sound as good. Isn’t that ironic?
I fell in love with, The way we kissed. Now that I love you, They don’t come as easy. Isn’t that ironic?
I fell in love with, You holding me tight. Now that I love you, It’s not as intense. Isn’t that ironic?
I fell in love with, Your constant affection. Now that I love you, Your affection is scares. Isn’t that ironic?
I fell in love with, The security you offered. Now that I love you, I question your actions. Isn’t that ironic?
I fell in love with, The time we shared. Now that I love you, We avoid time together. Isn’t that ironic?
I fell in love with, The way we made love. Now that I love you, Even that has changed. Isn’t love ironic . . ?
